Spring Treasures III – Turkeys
Original Size
Spring Treasures Three, the final painting in this three-part series, brings the story to a quiet, meaningful close by blending wildlife with a human connection to nature. In the foreground, a proud tom turkey moves along the edge of a gently flowing creek, its iridescent feathers catching the soft spring light. Across the water, partially hidden among the trees, a father stands with his two young children, quietly observing the scene. Their presence adds a sense of scale, wonder, and generational continuity—a moment of teaching, discovery, and shared respect for the natural world. The peaceful woodland setting and hushed interaction suggest reverence rather than intrusion. As the culmination of the series, Spring Treasures Three celebrates not only the richness of springtime wildlife, but also the timeless act of passing an appreciation for nature from one generation to the next.
